It can be hard to stay motivated during the final weeks of school, knowing that you’re so close to the end but still having that little bit to go. Paired with the fact its the end of the semester and you’ve been working hard on assignments all throughout, burnout isn’t uncommon when you reach the final few weeks.
Personally, I find it difficult to stay focused and motivated during the last few weeks for the reasons I listed above. When having so many large assignments and projects due in the same week or small span of time its hard to know which one to prioritize. What I’ve found that helps me is playing the same music every time I need to focus or study. At the moment, the music that helps me focus and stay motivated is the soundtrack from Project Hail Mary movie by Daniel Pemberton. That movie meant a lot to me, and the soundtrack keeps my mind occupied enough I can focus but it isn’t boring enough the lack of background noise distracts me. With ADHD focus can be hard to keep, but I’ve found this works well for me.
Of course this wouldn’t be ideal for everyone, the ideal study method differs from person to person. There is no perfect method to stay focused and motivated, just different methods.
